Rowsie & Lee / Swallows Nest Barn Wedding

Rowsie & Lee held their beautiful wedding at the stunning Swallows Nest barn; an amazing converted barn set in the idyllic Warwickshire countryside.

Their day was filled with so much colour, laughs and love and was such a pleasure to photograph.

"We have the photos and they are just gorgeous. They are everything we hoped. You captured the day exactly how we remember, I was in tears!!! Everybody has been so complimentary of yourself and the photos. We're so so happy"  - Rowsie & Lee

Jo & James / Engagement

Earlier in the summer I met up with with the lovely Jo & James for their engagement shoot. We decided on New Hall Valley which not only is a beautiful place to visit it is also very special to them as it's where James popped the question! I had a great time with these two and their love for each other just shone through, they made my job very easy!

Lucy & Brett / Engagement

I've always wanted to shoot in a Lavender field so when Lucy suggested we visit The Cotswold Lavender Farm for their engagement shoot I jumped at the chance! The setting was just perfect, row upon row of dreamy purple lavender in full bloom and we were lucky enough to have some gorgeous sunshine. I had a fantastic morning getting to know Lucy & Brett and capturing their love for each other .

Rebecca & Simon / Wedding

Rebecca & Simon's wedding was a day of such laughter and fun, just as the perfect wedding should be! The Folley in Mackworth is a gorgeous venue and ever since Rebecca's email landed in my inbox I'd been excited about this wedding and it certainly didn't disappoint.  Rebecca had gone to so much effort with the decor and even made the beautiful cake herself, now that's one talented lady!

It was so lovely to be a part of this joyful day and I wish you all the best in your future life together x

Some lovely words from Rebecca: 'Thank you so much for the photos, we absolutely love them! You have done such a wonderful job in capturing every moment of our day. Amazing! thank you'

Charlotte & Kelvin / Engagement

I had a great time catching up with Charlotte, Kelvin & Their old dog Tye on the morning of their engagement shoot. They both love the outdoors and often walk Tye in the Lickey Hills so it seemed the perfect setting for their photos. Charlotte & Kelvin are both so easy going & laid back and from what they tell me that will be reflected in their wedding next month...I can't wait!

Emma & Gus /Engagement

Aww Emma & Gus are just the loveliest and I had a great time with them and their gorgeous and very excitable pup Teddy (spot the muddy paw prints!) during their pre wedding shoot. Emma & Gus are getting married in May & are having the reception on Emma's parents farm which is where we decided to head for the shoot. I had so much fun hanging out with these two and it's made me even more excited to photograph their wedding!

Lydia & Dave / Wedding

On average couples take 21 months to plan their wedding, Lydia & Dave however decided to plan theirs in just 8 weeks!  You'd have thought that a couple who have been together for over 10 years would take a little longer over things but as Lydia explained to me less time planning means less time to stress! Well they certainly managed to pull it off and the end result was gorgeous.

Lydia & Dave said their I Do's at St Mary's Church, Studley. Lydia's stunning lace dress was from Essence Of Australia; Lydia's sister was bridesmaid and complimented her perfectly in her pale grey Debut dress and the flower girls looked so sweet in their monsoon dresses. After the ceremony we all headed on to Wootton Park for the reception where guests enjoyed a drink in the sunshine, it was such amazing weather for October! I took this opportunity to whisk Lydia & Dave off for their portraits; you've got to love a venue with a lake and a boat! The reception looked lovely and Lydia had made a lot of the personal touches herself including sourcing the gorgeous sunflowers from the market and decorating the jam jars the day before.

Lydia & Dave are an amazing couple who have been through an awful lot so to be able to play a small part in their day and see them declare their love for each other in front of their loved ones, including their two gorgeous children, was so special. Thank you for having me Lydia & Dave, I wish you a wonderful future together xx

A morning with Maisie

“Enjoy the little things in life because one day you`ll look back and realise they were the big things.” ― Kurt Vonnegut

Those day's when you haven't got much to do are few and far between. Taking a step back and enjoying them for what they are is a real luxury. I want to try and remember these everyday moments with Maisie forever and so, for one morning I grabbed my camera and decided to capture some of the little things... Untill I gave into answering emails, making the bed, loading the dishwasher... blah blah blah.

Michelle & Si / Wedding

Although the morning of Michelle & Si's wonderful day began with a little drizzle nothing could dampen the spirits or excitement of Michelle & her bridesmaids whilst they all got ready together at Hogarth's Hotel. Danni & her team from The Make Up Spot did a wonderful job on the girls make up and they all looked lovely in their dusky pink dresses from White Runway. Michelle & Si's two daughters looked adorable in their flower girl dresses. The fizz was flowing and before I knew it was time for Michelle to step into her Augusta Jones dress, how stunning did she look!? I absolutely loved Michelle's cathedral length veil and those Jimmy Choo's!! It was then on to the ceremony at Knowle Church in an amazing horse drawn carriage.

After the ceremony we travelled back to Hogarth's for the reception where Jonathan at Sutton Flowers had worked his magic making the marquee look stunning, not to mention Michelle & the girls bouquets! We even had a break in the rain so I could whisk Michelle & Si off for their portraits!

Michelle & Si have such a lovely tight knit group of friends and family and it was wonderful to play a small part in their day. They are clearly very devoted to one another and that really shows in the love they have for their two girls. I think this day just cemented what everyone already knows...That they are perfect for each other.  I wish you the happiest of futures together Michelle & Si x
