Michelle & Si / Wedding

Although the morning of Michelle & Si's wonderful day began with a little drizzle nothing could dampen the spirits or excitement of Michelle & her bridesmaids whilst they all got ready together at Hogarth's Hotel. Danni & her team from The Make Up Spot did a wonderful job on the girls make up and they all looked lovely in their dusky pink dresses from White Runway. Michelle & Si's two daughters looked adorable in their flower girl dresses. The fizz was flowing and before I knew it was time for Michelle to step into her Augusta Jones dress, how stunning did she look!? I absolutely loved Michelle's cathedral length veil and those Jimmy Choo's!! It was then on to the ceremony at Knowle Church in an amazing horse drawn carriage.

After the ceremony we travelled back to Hogarth's for the reception where Jonathan at Sutton Flowers had worked his magic making the marquee look stunning, not to mention Michelle & the girls bouquets! We even had a break in the rain so I could whisk Michelle & Si off for their portraits!

Michelle & Si have such a lovely tight knit group of friends and family and it was wonderful to play a small part in their day. They are clearly very devoted to one another and that really shows in the love they have for their two girls. I think this day just cemented what everyone already knows...That they are perfect for each other.  I wish you the happiest of futures together Michelle & Si x

Lauren & Rob / Wedding

I have such a special wedding to share with you. Lauren & Rob had what they called a 'DIY' wedding and so many of their friends and family had a hand in making it such a wonderful and unique day. When Lauren sent me an email detailing how everyone had contributed it gave me such a warm feeling hearing all the time, effort and love everyone had put in and that feeling of sharing and togetherness really shone through on the day itself. I don't think I saw that gorgeous grin leave Lauren's face all day.

The reception was held at Lauren's parents farm. This is where I joined her & her bridesmaids just before she got dressed in her beautiful Edwardian net lace dress from Abigails Vintage Bridal; the vintage style suited Lauren so perfectly. To continue the vintage theme Lauren wore flowers in her hair originally worn by her mum at her own wedding! After the ceremony at St Micheal's Church it was back to the farm for welcome drinks of sloe gin, limoncello and elderflower cordial all home made of course!

Guests sat down to a feast of local food including beef & cider from the farm. The barn had been totally transformed with the sweetest hanging origami birds all made by Celia, Robs step mum and reams of bunting, made by everyone! The gorgeous flowers were all grown by Celia & Lauren's mum, Angela. It looked amazing.

The party went on until the early hours with The Zen Hussies keeping everyone dancing. Lauren & Rob stumbled across this band during their first Glastonbury together back in 2007 and have been huge fans ever since. Unfortunately I'd left before they started but check out their website, they're awesome!

It was so lovely to be a part of such a fun and happy wedding, thank you Lauren & Rob.
