Rebecca & Liam / Hampton Manor Wedding

Hampton Manor  in Solihull is such a wonderful venue and was the perfect setting for Rebecca & Liam's gorgeous wedding day. Their day was so elegant with the most beautiful floral arrangements and cakes to die for! Rebecca & Liam were so welcoming and didn't stop laughing all day which made them a dream to photograph.

Lauren & Rob / Wedding

I have such a special wedding to share with you. Lauren & Rob had what they called a 'DIY' wedding and so many of their friends and family had a hand in making it such a wonderful and unique day. When Lauren sent me an email detailing how everyone had contributed it gave me such a warm feeling hearing all the time, effort and love everyone had put in and that feeling of sharing and togetherness really shone through on the day itself. I don't think I saw that gorgeous grin leave Lauren's face all day.

The reception was held at Lauren's parents farm. This is where I joined her & her bridesmaids just before she got dressed in her beautiful Edwardian net lace dress from Abigails Vintage Bridal; the vintage style suited Lauren so perfectly. To continue the vintage theme Lauren wore flowers in her hair originally worn by her mum at her own wedding! After the ceremony at St Micheal's Church it was back to the farm for welcome drinks of sloe gin, limoncello and elderflower cordial all home made of course!

Guests sat down to a feast of local food including beef & cider from the farm. The barn had been totally transformed with the sweetest hanging origami birds all made by Celia, Robs step mum and reams of bunting, made by everyone! The gorgeous flowers were all grown by Celia & Lauren's mum, Angela. It looked amazing.

The party went on until the early hours with The Zen Hussies keeping everyone dancing. Lauren & Rob stumbled across this band during their first Glastonbury together back in 2007 and have been huge fans ever since. Unfortunately I'd left before they started but check out their website, they're awesome!

It was so lovely to be a part of such a fun and happy wedding, thank you Lauren & Rob.

Harriet & Pete / Wedding

Harriet & Pete's wedding took place in the heart of my hometown Warwick and was so lovely from start to finish. I've been looking forward to this wedding for so long after hearing their plans during their engagement session last November.

The day started at the historic EastGate & St Peters Chapel. An apartment within one of two remaining gateways into Warwick. Such an amazing place steeped in history and somewhere I've been desperate to have a nose around! Harriet looked so beautiful in her Essence Of Australia gown whilst her bridesmaids complemented her perfectly in Sorella Vita dresses. From there we headed in style in a huge vintage Rolls Royce (provided and driven by a good family friend) down the road to St Nicholas Church for the ceremony.

After the ceremony we didn't have far to travel to Lord Leycester Hospital. This stunning medieval building was once the home of Warwick’s medieval Guilds and today is an independent charity providing homes for ex-Servicemen and their wives. The Great Hall provided the perfect backdrop for the celebrations & looked so pretty with flowers by Blue Thistle and hundreds of twinkly fairy lights.

The day was full of joy and happiness and it was an absolute pleasure to be part of it. Thank you for having me Harriet & Pete x

Rachel & Chris / Wedding

I love weddings that are as quirky and individual as the couple getting married and Rachel & Chris' big day was exactly that. After getting ready at The Cube Hotel, Rachel headed to the very aptly named pub The Church to exchange vows to Chris in a ceremony that had everyone smiling from ear to ear. It was clear straight away how much love these two have for each other and also how loved they are by their wonderful friends and family.

I had so much fun, thank you so much for having me be part of your day Rachel & Chris, to say I had a blast is an understatement!

Heather & Terrance / Wedding

Heather & Terrance's big day was truly something special.  Held over the Easter bank holiday weekend at the amazing Rowton Castle, the sun shone, tears of joy were shed and it was so lovely to witness such pure love and emotion declared between a couple whilst they promised to spend the rest of their lives together.

Heather and Terrance's story is one of love and devotion to each other. Terrance is from Michigan, USA and Heather from Stourbidge, West Midlands. They met in Madrid as housemates whilst studying in 2009. Neither wanted to admit their feelings to the other and so remained friends. However on Heathers birthday night out they kissed and from then on became inseparable. Heather had to move back to England in the July to finish uni and Terrance returned to the states. They continued their relationship long distance over the next two years only seeing each other every couple of months. Then in May 2012 they decided they could no longer do it and had to be in the same country. Due to visa restrictions the only way they could be together was to get married. In August 2012 they had a small ceremony at a registry office and then saved up for the wedding of their dreams. All their friends and family were there to celebrate with them, and what a celebration it was with the party continuing until the early hours of the morning!

Thank you so much Heather & Terrance, it was such an honour to be part of your day and I wish you the happiest of lives together.

Lucy & Ed's Walton Hall Wedding

Lucy and Ed’s wedding was an absolute joy to be part of. Their fantastic day took place at the stunning Walton Hall in Wellesbourne with its beautiful grounds.  Although it was a little drizzly outside nothing could discourage Lucy infectious excitement when I turned up and I was made to feel so welcome by her and her girls.

Lucy was helped into her gorgeous Alfred Angelo dress by her bridesmaids before heading downstairs for the ceremony in the Moncreiffe room. Chelsea Flowers were responsible for Lucy’s oh so pretty bouquet and arrangements that tied in perfectly with the butterfly theme of the day.

The sun even managed to make an appearance and after the wedding breakfast (and some hilarious speeches) the guests descended outside to enjoy the last of the day’s sun.

Thank you so much Lucy & Ed for being so welcoming and for having me be part of your beautiful day, I loved it!
